Each perfume had a very different personality. Each was very unique but at the same time not super unfamiliar. Anyone could find a fragrance they love from this collection, and it won’t smell like what everyone else is wearing. There is a freshness that Future Society is able to achieve that I don’t see often in fragrances.

Disclaimer, I'm not a fragrance expert I'm just a person who's super picky about scents and have been searching far and wide for something that makes me happy. Overall still deciding how I feel about the rest of the sample set, but I spent a day with Floating Forest and it's almost immediately solidified a spot as a new spring/summer fragrance. For anyone who remembers/tried the Regime des Fleurs Personal/Space collection with the scent 'Falls,' I once had a sample of that and bought 'Waves' but regrettably never got around to buying a full size of Falls before it was discontinued. In hindsight Waves feels slightly more soapy than I want it to, and I've spent the last several years trying to hunt down a fragrance that has a similar quality to Falls, something that feels very light, watery, natural. I spent some time online reading through people's suggestions for comparable scents recently and came across Floating Forest and decided to give this Discovery Set a try. Floating Forest is (perhaps obviously) a little bit more rainforest-y than Falls, which I think is better described as literally 'standing by a waterfall,' but this gives me an equally satisfying aquatic summer day feel that fits in really well with warm weather without having the tendency to smell fully like sunscreen or straight up dirt/flowers/fake rain scents the way some others in this genre I've tried have.
