OUR STORY

THE FUTURE ISN'T WRITTEN YET

Future Society was born in 2023, though its origins reach nearly a decade earlier, born from a need to push back against growing pessimism about the future.

Through the lens of biology, we are reimagining fragrance, unlocking new ways for scent to express who we are and using technology to reconnect us with nature.

Because even in uncertain times, the future is not yet decided. Tomorrow is always ours to invent.

Through the lens of biology, we are reimagining what fragrance can be; crafting scents that reflect, evolve and amplify the essence of our unique selves.

Our VISION is a world where personal scent is nurtured as a ritual of self expression.

Our PURPOSE is to renew our connection between personal scent, self, and nature.

OUR FOUNDER

Jasmina Aganovic got her degree in Chemical Biological Engineering from MIT-and has dedicated her career to the intersection of science and beauty.

She began her career at Fresh, Living Proof, and skin microbiome brand Mother Dirt before founding Arcaea, a biology-first beauty company creating novel ingredient technologies.

Like many, Jasmina fell in love with fragrance during the pandemic, turning to scent for hope and connection. Through her biological lens, she saw fragrance not as luxury but as a living bridge between ourselves and nature, an idea that inspired Future Society, whose first collection reimagines six extinct flowers through DNA sequencing and the artistry of the world’s best perfumers.

We tell previously inaccessible stories of nature. We call our approach "Expressive Biology."
