50 ml
We met the rain before it touched earth and studied what traveled within it. The further we followed, the less it behaved like something we thought we knew.
Top Notes: Mimosa, Pear, Lemon, Incense
Heart Notes: Black Tea, Blue Lotus Extract, Orris, Clary Sage
Base Notes: Musk, Ambrette Seeds, Eucalyptus Absolute, Violet Leaves
Perfumer: Michael Nordstrand
Experience: Eucalyptus opens the senses first, with citrus and pear bringing brightness and lift before blue lotus and black tea form the atmospheric center of the fragrance. Soft musks and violet leaves remain close to skin, creating something luminous, continuous, alive and shimmering.
The result is not the smell of rain after it falls, but rain itself. You have never actually smelled the rain before. Now you can. This is Wandering Rain.
Blue Lotus, Black Tea, Pear, Orris Root, Eucalyptus

Wandering Rain Eau de Parfum
You’ve never actually smelled the rain
What we’ve been told is the smell of rain isn’t rain at all. The scent that feels familiar represents where rain lands, the ending we’ve mistaken for the whole story. So instead of staying on the ground, we met the rain before it touched earth and studied what traveled within it, where we identified the airborne microbes moving with it in the atmosphere and revealed something shaped by motion rather than impact. The further we followed, the less it behaved like something we thought we knew.
Perfumer Michael Nordstrand translated that movement into scent. Eucalyptus opens the senses first, with citrus and pear bringing brightness and lift before blue lotus and black tea form the atmospheric center of the fragrance. Soft musks and violet leaves remain close to skin, creating something luminous, continuous, alive and shimmering.
The result is not the smell of rain after it falls, but rain itself. You have never actually smelled the rain before. Now you can. This is Wandering Rain.
- Rachel P.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsFresh, sparkling, crisp air after rain in a field of violets 🌧️✨🥂
Wow I love this scent so much. I will say, I was not the biggest fan of the one of the top notes that I smelled in the first maybe 5-10 minutes. I can’t identify the note that bothered me but I just was not a fan, it was sharp smelling. After about 10 minutes, I was in awe and couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist.
While I’m not super advanced in describing scent notes in fragrances, What I can tell you is that this smells like fresh, sparkling, clean air after it rained in a field of violets.
Fresh, crisp, clean, wet, bubbly, and floral in a very fresh and crisp way. The more it dries down, the cozier it gets, while still keeping the fresh aura. I love these kinds of scents so this is perfect for me. It’s so atmospheric ✨🌧️💧🥂💜✨
You definitely need to use Optimal Habitat with this one. I’d say it lasts about a good 4-5 hours even with it.
I have to say, out of all of the Future Society originals, I only liked Floating Forest. I’m glad they are doing a bit of a pivot or new direction in their new scents, and the bottles are truly objets d’art, gorgeous on your shelf or vanity.
Excited to see what’s next, FS!

A wonderful fragrance! It’s comforting, warm, and has just the right amount of projection (not too subtle, not too potent). Definitely a unique scent, and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it! Would 100% recommend it.

This is a fresh tea and violet forward fragrance that has great lasting power. This is clean yet cozy and such an easy reach because it’s smooth, a little musky and blended really well.
