A fragrance inspired by the extinct Orbexilum stipulatum, a flower from North American Plains last recorded in 1812.
Crisp, refreshing clary sage, fig leaves, and energizing ginger compose a green overture, softened by a floral bouquet, and anchored by natural woods and earthy patchouli.

I’m in love with Grassland Opera! This scent works beautifully layered with Invisible Woods. I have very little oil in my skin, so the Optimal Habitat is a must as well. I have received compliments about how light and natural it smells.

I blind bought this fragrance because the description of notes sounded so amazing and perfect to layer with my other body products/ fragrances. I love fig, ylang ylang, patchouli, sage, ginger and sandalwood and the whole concept of the extinct flower i have never really heard of one of the notes listed as Ambrofix but after researching why i couldn’t smell some fragrances including this one i realized that Ambrofix is basically ambroxan which happens to be a huge molecule that some peoples noses cannot smell. However my boyfriend loved the smell. i will be gifting this to someone who can smell it.

When I wear Grassland Opera, everywhere I go - and I mean EVERYWHERE(!) - someone always comments on this wonderful fragrance. What a conversation starter! Of course, I launch into my brief description of Future Society, along with my recommendation that they head to your site. I've been wearing fragrances for years, but this is the first time I've ever garnered such a response.
Keep up the good work and thank you for restoring this lost scent. Too beautiful to be forgotten.

This was by far my favorite from the discovery set. Kind of difficult to describe, on me I get a sweet citrus and floral (grassy?) scent for about the first hour and then it morphs into more of a warm but light woody scent throughout the day. It has something in common with Bal D'afrique by Byredo, but not as fruity in the initial spray. I think this fragrance is more unique and interesting though, and definitely lasts WAY longer.
Overall I loved it and will definitely be ordering a full-sized bottle!
