An Aromatic Woody Floral Inspired by India’s Lost Bloom

Drift beyond what is seen with Invisible Woods, an aromatic woody floral perfume inspired by Wendlandia angustifolia, a flowering tree once native to India’s Western Ghats, last recorded in 1917 and lost to drought. It has vanished, reappeared, and vanished again, an echo in the forest, never fully gone. This fragrance captures the quiet persistence of nature, reminding us that growth is not always loud.

Scientific Reconstruction:
Through biotechnology, scent molecules of the Wendlandia angustifolia were identified and reinterpreted into a crisp blend of eucalyptus, florals, and soft woods. Perfumer Daniela Andrier composed the fragrance to tell the story of extinction from the earth’s perspective: quiet, resilient, and alive with memory.

Key Notes:

  • Grapefruit, Eucalyptus & Ginger
  • Rose Absolute & Chamomile
  • Iris & Akigalawood

Why You’ll Love It:

  • A crisp, green-woody scent with a soft herbal elegance
  • Smells clean, skin-like, and quietly magnetic
  • Alluring and subtle, but lingers in that “you smell amazing” way
  • A scent with a story, reviving a long-lost bloom from India’s Western Ghats

THE WORLD THIS SCENT CREATES

Its color is an inky purple night, brushstroked by silver clouds.

Its mood is captivated by contrasts.

    My new signature scent

This scent is incredible. The dry down is exactly what I was looking for. I grew up in the 90’s and loved Gaps Om fragrance. I’ve been searching for something in that same vein for years- this hits the same spot. I am I love.

    So good!

As someone sensitive to strong fragrances, finding the right perfume is a challenge, but Invisible Woods is perfect for me. It's fresh and never overwhelms. I get compliments on it constantly. If you're sensitive to scents but still want something beautiful and unique, this is it. Already on my second bottle.

Smells like your favorite herbal tea!

If you like your perfume fresh, herbal, and natural, Invisible Woods is for you! Shoutout to the previous review that stated this perfume smells like tea. I think that’s spot on! The top notes of grapefruit and eucalyptus are zingy and energetic before smoothing out into a lovely fresh floral-wood that stays close to the skin. This is a fantastic scent for a nature lover!

    Don’t sleep on invisible woods!

Invisible Woods is seriously underrated compared to Solar Canopy and Floating Forest. It’s incredibly bright, fresh, and clean, but not in that typical “clean cotton” way. Instead, it leans into a crisp, herbal freshness that feels airy and natural. It’s one of the most refreshing scents in the line and definitely deserves more attention.

Another slam dunk of a fragrance!

Can future society do no wrong? Invisible woods is just spicy enough, just earthy enough, just green enough and is perfect for that chillier spring day!
