An Aquatic Green Floral Inspired by Borneo’s Canopy

An invitation to slow down with Floating Forest, a cooling aquatic floral inspired by Shorea cuspidata, a towering rainforest tree once native to Borneo and lost to logging after 1998. Known for rising over 160 feet into the canopy, it was part of one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. This fragrance evokes a quiet meditation in scent, green, lush, and serene in a world that moves fast.

Scientific Reconstruction:
Through biotechnology, scent molecules from the extinct Shorea cuspidata were identified and reinterpreted into this unique watery-green composition. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette approached the scent as a form of time travel, reconstructing not just the flower, but the entire environment it once inhabited.

    Floating forest

    If you want something that is fresh but still retains some uniqueness, this is it. It balances being a clean scent and a complex scent very well. As for what the scent reminds me of, I’d say something like a lush, mossy forest on a rainy day.

    Floating Forest is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Fresh with a light sweetness. Fills the room and last for a full work day (about 8 hours on me). Would definitely recommend

    Thank you for travel sizes!

    I cannot currently justify a full bottle given the unbelievable array of fragrances I own, so I was delighted to be able to sneak in an affordable travel size. Fig is not listed as a note, but I get that note very much which is why I am loving FF. Make sure to get the body lotion for layering because it holds the fragrance very well. Thank you for not testing on innocent little animals!

    Floating Forest- so so good!

    Floating Forest smells amazing! Very fresh and green yet a little spicy. Very unique! Loved the samples that were sent as well!
