A Smoky Floral Echoing South Africa’s Untamed Past

Surrender to the wild with Haunted Rose, a smoky, spiced floral inspired by Macrostylis villosa subspecies 1 + 2, an untamed bloom once native to South Africa and lost to invasive species after 1960. Found only in a narrow stretch of rocky fynbos, it thrived in harsh, wind-swept conditions, its survival as defiant as its disappearance was swift. This fragrance is a trace of something fierce and unforgettable, an echo of wild beauty that refused to be tamed.

Scientific Reconstruction:
Through biotechnology, scent molecules from the Macrostylis villosa were identified and reinterpreted into a bold, smoky floral. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette approached the scent as a form of time travel, reconstructing not just the flower, but the entire environment it once inhabited.

    Holy Grail

    IG targeted me with marketing for the fragrance primer, and I received some scent samples with my order. OH MY GOSH, I AM SHOOK. This scent is absolutely captivating, and I feel like I finally found the scent I've been unknowingly searching for over the years. And the staying power is UNPARALLELED. I've never encountered the equal, and this was when I tried it without using the scent primer. I just ordered the scent sampler because I now want to know what all the other scents are like and will be buying one (okay... maybe more than one) full-size fragrance.

    Fantastic Purchase - you have a long term customer

    I love this brand and all the work that they do. It’s just a bonus that their perfume smells incredible. My boyfriend absolutely loves it, and so do I.     Haunted Rose is the perfect description for this mesmerizing fragrance. I've been obsessed with the smell of rose for my entire life and I am always searching for a new twist on my favorite scent. Haunted Rose takes the traditional scent of rose and turns it on its head. The scent is both familiar and secret - the scent of a distant rose hidden in the corner of an English garden. I love this scent more than I have loved any scent in a long time.     Something Wonderful

    Let me tell you about this fragrance. So, I bought Solar Canopy first and got two complementary samples with one being Haunted Rose. So, just on a whim I layered Haunted Rose with Solar Canopy and discovered something wonderful. Solar Canopy layered with Haunted Rose is the ultimate. If you don't have it get, along with Solar Canopy.
