A Radiant Fruity Floral Fragrance Celebrating Hawaii’s Rarest Hibiscus

Step into the light with Solar Canopy, a vibrant fruity floral inspired by Hibiscadelphus wilderianus, a rare Hawaiian hibiscus last seen on Mount Haleakalā in 1912. With only seven trees ever recorded, it vanished almost as soon as it was discovered. Its legacy lives on in this luminous fragrance, a tribute to resilience, radiance, and the lasting light of brief beauty.

Scientific Reconstruction: Through biotechnology, scent molecules from the extinct Hibiscadelphus wilderianus were identified and interpreted into this luminous composition. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette approached the scent as a form of time travel, reconstructing not just the flower, but the entire environment it once inhabited.

We used powerful biotechnology to sequence a DNA sample of Hibiscadelphus wilderianus, a Hawaiian endemic species that once covered the Southern Slope of Haleakala but was last observed in 1912.

    Vibrant Romantic and meditative. A fun yet not your predictable Hawaiian solar fragrance

    A beautiful scent, I put it on and I’m in Hawaii. But not Hawaii now, Hawaii at the turn of the century . Before the sky scraper hotels and airports and deforestation, clean beaches and nature run free. with a touching story of a rare flower gone by the destruction of humanity spreading, it is romantic and makes me wistful for a time before the Earth was overpopulated, before plastic and mass consumption. It has such a serious message but you wouldn’t know it just by smelling this delicious and addictive Hawaiian summer sent that is not typical of a solar fragrance, a sun scent with rich florals created to take us back to the time that plant existed, and it does the job, an sun scent even the Gothic romantic would love. It is not my typical scent but I put it on and I can’t stop sniffing my arm. Unlike many perfumes I can still smell it on me several hours later, usually I can’t smell my own perfume 5 minutes after putting it on. I highly recommend optimal habitat to make it and any of your scents even go longer. It really is worth it!

    Holy moly it’s so beautiful

    This might just be a perfect perfume. Its an award winner for a reason! So fresh and fruity on top then dries down to a beautiful floral. I tried it with the discovery set but will 100% be buying a full size bottle!
