Field Notes from 2025

Field Notes from 2025

This year, scent refused to stay in one place.

We began on Earth Day with a collaboration and Solar Canopy giveaway with @Fernanda__Uribe, turning our attention to material, environment, and what it means to create with care.

Soon after, we found ourselves inside history, featuring Grassland Opera at the Frazier Museum Gala, a reminder that the future is always shaped in conversation with what came before.

In June, we released a Pride limited-edition set benefiting the Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth (BAGLY), one of Boston’s oldest LGBTQ+ youth organizations. It was a small act of solidarity, and an important one. Collect the 9.5 mls featured in the set here.

Summer moved through sound and stillness. Fête de la Musique brought us together with Boston musicians, exploring how scent and music can share the same air. Not long after, @ElieDelaney’s Summer Reading List slowed things down, pairing fragrance with pages, pauses, and long afternoons (you can still find the reading list here).

Later in the year, scent took on a visible form through @jessillustrator Jessica Durrant x Future Society: hand-painted bottles, each one singular, each one insisting that beauty doesn’t need to be repeated.

We closed the year with K18 x Future Society, a limited-edition Leave-In Hair Mask rooted in biotechnology and curiosity, proof that scent belongs wherever ideas are being tested.

In 2026, we’re continuing to explore scent in ways that feel unmistakably Future Society: more unexpected collaborations, more experimentation, and more ways for fragrance to help you celebrate who you are, without dilution or disguise.

Thank you for moving forward with us.
The future smells promising.

Future Society
